Who I Am
Ruihan Wang is a multidisciplinary artist and designer from Beijing, China, currently based in Toronto, Canada.
She graduated from OCAD University with a bachelor's degree in Illustration.
What I Do
Working across illustration, painting, ceramics, photography, textiles, and graphic design, Wang’s practice explores the emotional language of colours, forms, and materials. Her works often draw on personal memories and quiet observations of everyday life, transforming subtle emotions into vivid visual experiences.
Guided by her sensitivity to nature, Wang finds inspiration in the living world—plants, animals, and the serene moments of solitude shared with her cat. Through these encounters, she creates art that reflects both tenderness and vitality, inviting viewers into an intimate dialogue between emotion and form.
